October 13th marks the 9th annual New York City Wine and Food Festival. What makes this 4-day food fare even more enticing is that it’s not only hosted by the food network but 100% percent of the proceeds benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign and Food Bank for New York City. To date they have raised $9.5 million in the fight to end hunger and the fundraising is still going strong. The festival brings together over 55,000 foodies and wine aficionados giving them the opportunity to taste, sip and sample some of the finest from over 500 world-renowned chefs like legendary Emril Lagassee, as well as culinary and Food Network personalities Giada De Laurentiis and Guy Fieri.
